One of the most frequently addressed issues we manage at EDD is report and automation timing. The CCH Axcess Data Axcess Utility runs on UTC time, so it does not adjust with daylight savings time - which leads to much frustration.
We've provided a self-service tool for folks to be able to easily - and accurately schedule DAU refreshes to ensure you do get the latest data available, identifies cutoff times, and provides Ideal Power BI Refresh times.
If you're more technically inclined - this means you, IT Directors! - we've provided an easy way to build the scripts you need so the DAU refreshes at the right time, every time - and to put the cherry on top, some scripts to automatically refresh your Power BI reports only after the refresh is successful. It is possible to fully automate the dependency chain for your Power BI reports for CCH Axcess.

We've provided a way to build out your customized staff budgets in any way you choose - adjust for role differences, differences across geographic regions, and account for flex-time in a way you already know - Excel.
We've provided a tool that allows you to enter high-level numbers and automatically create an allocation model that can be fine-tunes after the fact. Get as precise as you desire for budgeting. Once complete, this info will significantly enhance the value delivered by both internal reporting and the EDD Base Report in Power BI.
